In the December 2011 issue of Thyroid (vol. 21, no. 12; 1359–1366), the article “Review and Hypothesis: Does Graves' Disease Develop in Non-Human Great Apes?” by McLachlan et al. (1) requires minor correction. In the Acknowledgments on page 1364, the last name of one of the veterinarians who generously provided us with information about great ape health was misspelled as “Hasselthwaite.” The correct name is Dr. D. Hasselschwert.
The authors sincerely regret this error.
