In the July 2010 issue of Journal of Interferon & Cytokine Research (vol. 30, no. 7), the article ‘‘Circulating Levels of 8 Cytokines and Marine n-3 Fatty Acids and Indices of Obesity in Japanese, White, and Japanese American Middle-Aged Men,’’ by Dr. Akira Sekikawa and others, the authors have found errors in both the text and in table 1. In the right column of page 542, it reads “Using a pixel range of −190 to −30 Hounsfield unit.” This should be “Using a pixel range of −160 to 0 Hounsfield unit.”
In Table 1 on page 543, the units listed for VAT and SAT were reported in cm2. The correct unit is cm3 per 0.6 cm height. Dividing the value by 0.6 gives the number in cm2.
These changes do not affect the results or conclusions presented by the authors.
