In the article by Chao et al, “Plasma Levels of Proprotein Convertase Subtilisin/Kexin Type 9 Are Elevated in Patients With Peripheral Artery Disease and Associated With Metabolic Disorders and Dysfunction in Circulating Progenitor Cells,” which published online on May 20, 2016 and was included in the May 2016 issue of the journal (J Am Heart Assoc. 2016;5: e003497 doi: 10.1161/JAHA.116.003497), an error occurred. On page 2 of the article, the authors incorrectly stated: “Plasma concentrations of biomarkers were measured using commercial kits (American Diagnostica Inc).” The article has been updated to state: Plasma concentrations of biomarkers were measured using commercial kits (R&D Systems Inc., Minneapolis, MN, USA; and Mercodia AB, Uppsala, Sweden).”

The authors regret the error.

The online version of the article has been updated and is available at http://jaha.ahajournals.org/content/5/5/e003497.full.
