Arsenic treatment of zebrafish larvae increased heart rate in a concentration-dependent manner. Zebrafish eggs were exposed to 50, 100, 300, 500 ppb sodium arsenite till hatched (3 days after fertilization) along with an untreated control. The rate of resting heart beats was recorded.
