Human neutrophils (2 × 10⁶ cells/mL HBSS) were incubated in the absence or presence of different concentrations of PDX for 20 min. PMA (0.162 mM) was added, and O2° production was measured by chemiluminescence technique in the presence of 10 μM luminol. One curve is representative of four experiments (A). Total chemiluminescence in each condition was quantified and presented as mean ± SEM of 4 experiments (B). Different letters indicate significant differences between the groups at p< 0.001 level (one way ANOVA followed by Fisher’s PLSD test).
