Average quantities of Extracted DNA (ng), DNA extraction yield (ng DNA/mg tissue digested, see text for method of calculation) and Quality (% DNA > 9,416 bp) of genomic DNA extracted from tissues of two species fish (Morone americana) and crab (Callinectes sapidus) held in one of 25 treatments: five storage temperatures (Room Temperature = RT, 4, −20, −80, and −190 °C) × five preservative methods (95% EtOH, DMSO-EDTA, DNAzol, RNAlater, M2) for a minimum of 14 days. Mean and standard deviation (SD) values are shown.
