Aifric O’Sullivan 1, Marie Farver 2, Jennifer T Smilowitz 3,4,
PMCID: PMC5084830  PMID: 27812287

The authors have drawn to the attention of the editor in chief of the journal errors in the following paper: O’Sullivan A, Farver M and Smilowitz JT. The Influence of Early Infant-Feeding Practices on the Intestinal Microbiome and Body Composition in Infants. Nutrition and Metabolic Insights. 2015;8(S1):1–9. doi: 10.4137/NMI.S29530.

On page 4, the sentence “Based on the CDC’s most recent report card, 59% of babies are mixed-fed by the time they are 3 months of age.” should have stated, “Based on the CDC’s most recent report card, 59% of babies are mixed-fed or formula-fed by the time they are 3 months of age.”

The editor in chief thanks the authors for bringing this error to the attention of the journal.
