Correction to Role of the Flavan-3-ol and Galloyl Moieties in the Interaction of (−)-Epigallocatechin Gallate with Serum Albumin

There are two typographical errors in the original paper. The first is in Table 1. The value for the EGCg KSV at pH 7.4 was incorrectly entered as 461. The correct value is 46. The corrected table is provided here:

The second error is in the first sentence under Discussion, where an exponent is incorrectly written as 10–5.

The correct sentence is as follows: Our fluorescence studies demonstrated that EGCg interacts with BSA, with an apparent binding constant of about 4.6 × 105 M–1 at pH 7.4, similar to that obtained in other studies of EGCG–BSA interactions20 and about 10-fold higher than that reported for EGCg–HSA.18,19
