Erratum Notice of Author Name Correction

Currently Available Tools and Teaching Strategies for the Interprofessional Education of Students in Health Professions: Literature review

The Editors of Sultan Qaboos University Medical Journal (SQUMJ) have been informed that the authors of an article by Khan et al. in the August 2016 issue of SQUMJ wish to make a correction to the name of an author of the above article.1

The third author, Syed Shehnaz, contacted SQUMJ in October 2016 notifying the editors of a mistake in the spelling of her last name as submitted to the journal by the corresponding author, Nelofar Khan. However, this correction could not be made as the article had already been published several months previously. For the reasons stated herein, the Editors of SQUMJ wish to notify readers that the name of the authors for the above article is changed to the following: Nelofar S. Khan, Syed I. Shehnaz, Kadayam G. Gomathi.2

The corresponding author, Khan, takes sole responsibility for this notice and would like to apologise to the readers, reviewers and editors of SQUMJ for this correction made after publication.
