(A) Schematic of CASZ1b wild type protein (NLS1-nuclear localization signal 1; NLS2 - nuclear localization signal 2; NES - nuclear export signal; ZF-zinc finger) and CASZ1b Δ168. (B) CASZ1b Δ168 was transfected into 293T cells for 24 hr, and treated the cells with or without the CRM1 inhibitor LMB (20 ng/ml) for 3.5 hr. The cells were stained with an anti-FLAG antibody and DAPI. (C) To generate the graph, a minimum of 300 cells were screened for each group from at least 3 different fields and scored for nuclear and cytoplasmic (Nuc & Cyt) or nuclear only (Nuc) staining (data are shown as means ± S.D., *: p<0.005).
