Dear Friends & Colleagues,

On behalf of the World Association of Radiopharmaceutical and Molecular Therapy [WARMTH] & Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute & Research Centre Delhi, it is our pleasure & privilege to welcome you to the 11th International Conference on Radiopharmaceutical Therapy [ICRT] which will take place between November 13-17, 2016 in Kochi, India.

This ICRT meeting in Kerala, which is one of the sought-after tourist destinations and commonly referred to as “God's own country”, promises to be a highlight for the theragnostic soul of nuclear medicine and will be based on the theme “From Controversies to Consensus in Radiopharmaceutical Therapy”.

The objectives of the conference are:

  1. To evaluate the current status of nuclear medicine in general and radionuclide therapy and molecular imaging in particular.

  2. To disseminate the concept of THERAGNOSTICS in the management of diseases using molecular imaging as a premier diagnostic tool to aid therapy.

  3. To exchange information on the current advances in the fields between scientists from developed and developing countries.

  4. To interact with the user groups Internists, Oncologists, Endocrinologists, Rheumatologists, Pediatricians, Orthopedicians & Surgeons.

  5. To bring them the most important information in the field of radionuclide therapy.

  6. To define future directions in this speciality.

The major emphasis of the meeting will be to involve the end-users and stake-holders of therapeutic nuclear medicine as outlined above, to enhance awareness and to sell the technology to our clinical colleagues. The meeting will cover the entire range of Theragnostics in the field of Nuclear Medicine - including basic sciences, instrumentation, radiobiology, radiopharmaceuticals, dosimetry and molecular imaging. These will be achieved through a number of plenary lectures, oral and poster presentations, symposia & seminars, interactive sessions and audiovisual presentations.

There will be plenary lectures devoted to nuclear medicine therapy as well as therapy-related diagnosis and follow-up. In addition there will be panel discussions and debates pertaining to the subject. The distinguished speakers will share their experience, address the state-of-the-art and new developments.

The symposia organized throughout the meeting will truly reflect WARMTH's mission with the goal of providing the best care for our patients.

We are introducing the 1st Prof Ajit K Padhy memorial oration in ICRT from this year which will be an integral part of ICRT in the coming years.

We are looking forward to your visit to provide you the WARM hospitality of WARMTH along with the WARMTH of the people of “incredible” India.
