Measurements of the genome sizes of simian virus 40 and polyoma virus.

Abstract

We have measured the genome sizes of simian virus 40 and polyoma virus and found them to be 5,010 +/- 125 base pairs and 5,080 +/- 125 base pairs, respectively.
