The inhibitory capacities of secondary amines (O8, P8) on CSE were determined by measuring the amount of L-cysteine produced with DNTB. Cells in 1% cDMSO, the vehicle for the amines, served as negative control. Absorbance was monitored at 570 nm using a micro plate reader. Results are expressed as the percentage of negative control mean ± SE. * p <0.05 versus 1% cDMSO.
