Erratum

In the April 2002 issue of the Journal, in the article “Protecting Subjects’ Interests in Genetics Research,” by Merz et al. (70:965–971), in the discussion of the lawsuit brought against the Miami Children's Hospital because of their patent on the diagnostic and therapeutic uses of the gene for Canavan disease, the Canavan Foundation should have been listed as a plaintiff in the case. The authors regret this error.
