Sk-Mel-5 cell were transfected with COX-2 siRNA to knockdown COX-2 expression. A. transfection of Sk-Mel-5 cells by COX-2 siRNA resulted in marked reduction in the levels of COX-2 protein in cells as confirmed by western blot analysis. A significant reduction of cell invasiveness B, C. versus control siRNA-treated cells was observed. Each column is the mean ± SEM of three independent experiments, each performed in quadruplicate P<0.001 vs CTL.
