Before surgery, the tumor growth was examined by the T1 post-contrast MRI imaging. The pre-multifocal growth of MBD3-low GBM features a rapid tumor expansion, aggressive infiltration to the surrounding normal tissue, and poor survival. In comparison, the spherical, rim-enhancing MBD3-high GBM features a relatively mild growth, confined edge, and better survival.
