The HEI-OC-1 cells were treated with 1 mM to 10 mM neomycin for 24 h, cultured in serum-free medium for an additional 24 h, then harvested for RT-qPCR and western blot. (AC) The mRNA and protein levels of ARC in HEI-OC-1 cells decreased gradually with the increasing neomycin doses. (DF) The mRNA and protein levels of ARC in HEI-OC-1 cells decreased with the increasing neomycin treatment time. (G and H) Immunofluorescence showed that the expression of ARC in TUNEL-positive cells was lower than in TUNEL-negative cells. The HEI-OC-1 cells were cultured with 10 mM neomycin for 24 h.
