This chart indicates that polyploidy is linked with metabolism activation and modification. This chart demonstrates common nature of ploidy-related stemness and the induction of epithelial-to -mesenchymal transition. The stemness is seen from the upregulation of modules related to stem cell and signaling by PI3K, NOTCH, HIPPO, FGF, FOXO/FOXM WNT, TGF-beta, c-MYC, Hedgehog. Activated epithelial-to -mesenchymal transition is evident from the activated EMT module.
