The NHERF1 protein was readily detected in both normal and cancerous epithelial cells of colorectal tissues, but not in surrounding stromal cells by IHC (A). High expression of VEGFR2 was associated with shorter overall survival of patients with colorectal cancer of low NHERF1 expression (B). No significant differences were observed in the OS curve analysis between patients with high and low VEGFR2 expression in the patients with colorectal cancer of high NHERF1 expression (C).
