In MHCC97-H cells with miR-146b-5p over-expression, the phosphorylation of Akt (p-Akt) was impaired and the expression levels of Bcl-2, Mcl-1 and MMP-9 were decreased. In Hep3B cells with miR-146b-5p knockdown, enhanced the phosphorylated Akt induced the expression of Bcl-2, Mcl-1 and MMP-9. Neither over-expression nor knockdown of miR-146b-5p could find any significant changes of total Akt (t-Akt) expression. *P<0.05.
