Video 4. Optogenetic activation of AWB neurons.

After 60 s without any stimulus, a transgenic animal expressing the bistable variant of channelrhodopsin, ChR2(C128S), was illuminated with blue light for 3 s to cause sustained AWB activation, and the behavior was monitored for the following 30 s. The video speed is 8x.
