Correction for Time-to-Credit Gender Inequities of First-Year PhD Students in the Biological Sciences

The authors of “Time-to-Credit Gender Inequities of First-Year PhD Students in the Biological Sciences” (CBE Life Sci. Educ. [2017] 16, ar4; doi:10.1187/cbe.16-08-0237) have made a correction to a value in the Results. On page 7, the total number of published articles reported by the sample was 68. The correct value is 64. All reported computations are based on the correct value of 64.

The correct sentence is: Of 303 responding participants, 64 reported authorship on a published journal article (21.1%), and 40 reported authorship on a published abstract (13.2%).

The correction was made to the html and PDF versions of the paper on the website on March 29, 2017. The corrected version, however, may not be reflected on other websites where the paper appears.
