To the Editor:
In our article, published in the December 2011 issue of the Journal (1), Figures 3A and 4A utilized the same Western blot data; however, the error bars for the bar graphs depicted in these figures were dissimilar, reflecting an error in the incorporation of densitometric data for the first three bars in each figure. We include below the revised Figures 3A and 4A; these corrected versions now show the correct use of the densitometric data for the control data and reflect the same control values.
