In this article, on page E925, right column, there is a sentence that contains inaccurate information. The sentence “Thus, it is necessary to emphasize that “net release” simply means a positive A-V concentration difference or that the unidirectional release is greater than the unidirectional uptake.” should actually read as follows: “Thus, it is necessary to emphasize that “net release” simply means a negative A-V concentration difference or that the unidirectional release is greater than the unidirectional uptake.”
