Two pieces of data reported in the paper, “Structured assessment and followup for patients with hereditary kidney tumour syndromes”1 published in the July 2016 issue of CUAJ are not totally accurate.
- Table 1: Concerning renal followup of VHL patients, the frequency of ultrasound of the abdomen should read, “yearly until age 15.”
- Table 1: Concerning renal followup of HPRC patients, the frequency of ultrasound of the abdomen should read, “If baseline imaging normal, CT scan of the abdomen or MRI at age 30 and then every two years.”
The authors thank you for your understanding and apologize for these errors, which slid into the manuscript despite honest efforts.
