Hemin diminishes triglyceride accumulation and increases free fatty acid content in mouse primary hepatocytes induced by palmitate. Mouse primary hepatocytes were treated with hemin at the indicated concentration for 6 h, and then palmitate was added at a final concentration of 0.6 mM to induce the accumulation of triglyceride (TG) and increase of free fatty acid (FFA) for 18 h.
