CD56^lowCD16^low NK cells IFNγ producing ability during the first year after HSCT. Freshly isolated cells from BM or PB of pediatric transplanted patients and healthy donors were stimulated overnight with IL-12 (25 ng/ml) plus IL-15 (50 ng/ml). The percentage of IFNγ positive cells into CD56^highCD16^+/− (gray), CD56^lowCD16^low (white) and CD56^lowCD16^high (black) NK-cell subsets gated on CD56⁺CD3⁻ NK cells was assessed by cytofluorimetric analysis. The histograms represent the mean value ± SEM of the percentage of positive cells analyzed at different time-points after haplo-HSCT starting from the first month until 12^th month after transplantation.
