“In this paper by Erica J Wallis et al (11 March, pp 671-6), five values of the total:HDL cholesterol ratio were wrong in the table on p 672 because of an error during the editorial process. The values for men aged 40, 38, 36, 34, and 32 years in the far left hand column (15%) should read 5.2, 5.8, 6.4, 7.2, 8.2 respectively (not 2.0, 2.0, 2.0, 2.0, 2.1).
