International Stereotactic Radiosurgery Society ISRS

The International Stereotactic Radiosurgery Society (ISRS) was founded as a worldwide non-pro t organization in 1991 and remains the only professional body of its kind.

Created to foster learning and research on the topics of brain and body radiosurgery, the society is highly dedicated to:

  • Promoting technical developments in stereotactic radiosurgery

  • Promoting the highest levels of clinical expertise

  • Convening every two years at the ISRS Congresses

The core mission of the ISRS is to keep neurosurgeons, radiation oncologists, medical physicists, neurologists and oncologists in continued medical education, developing new relationships or strengthening existing relationships with other medical societies, colleagues or ISRS members, and to keep them updated on the most up-to-date information on the use of stereotactic radiosurgery.
