Corrigendum

PMCID: PMC5667280  PMID: 29130459

The authors would like to draw the reader's attention to an error in the following article:

Takeshi Yagi, Motoki Fujita, Tomoaki Inoue, Mari Otsuji, Yasutaka Koga, Takashi Nakahara, Takashi Miyauchi, Kotaro Kaneda, Yasutaka Oda and Ryosuke Tsuruta. Cardiac arrest due to massive hemorrhage from uterine adenomyosis with leiomyoma successfully treated with damage control resuscitation. Acute Medicine & Surgery 2016; 3(4): 388–391.

On page 388, the name of the pill “dienogest” was incorrect. The statement should have read as below.

Approximately 1 year previously, the patient had been diagnosed with anemia caused by a uterine tumor. Although the patient was offered surgery for the tumor, which was causing abnormal genital bleeding, she had left the tumor untreated and had taken pill.

The authors apologise for this error and any confusion it may have caused.
