An error occurred in “The epidemiology of allergic disease” by D Jarvis et al (21 February, pp 607-610). The first sentence of the acknowledgment for illustrations should have read: “The data in the third graph are from Burr et al (Arch Dis Child 1989;64:1452-6); in the fourth graph are from Nakagomi et al (Lancet 1994;343:121-2) and Gassner (Schweiz Rundschau Med 1992;81:426-30); in the fifth graph are from Strachan D (Clin Exp Allergy 1995;25:296-303); and in the second table are from Meredith S (J Epidemiol Community Health 1993;47:459-63).” An error also occurred in “Diagnosing allergy” by Csaba Rusznak et al (28 February, p 686-9). In the first box on p 686, neonates should have read “infancy,” and “early childhood” should have read “childhood.” In the final line, “nasal polyps” should have been omitted.
