In the article entitled, “Haplotype Counting by Next-Generation Sequencing for Ultrasensitive Human DNA Detection” (Volume 16, pages 495–503 of the September 2014 issue of The Journal of Molecular Diagnostics; http://dx.doi.org/10.1016/j.jmoldx.2014.04.003), the HLA-A reverse primer listed is incorrect. It was one of multiple primers tested but was not the final primer selected to generate the data in the paper. The correct reverse primer sequence is as follows: 5′-CCTCTCTATGGGCAGTCGGTGATCCAATTGTCTCCCCTCCTTG-3′, with P1-adaptor (underlined) and HLA-A reverse primer (italics) indicated.
