Strain JAM1 was cultured with 3.5 mg-N vial⁻¹ N₂O, with 22 mg-N vial⁻¹ ${\mathrm{NO}}_3^{-}$ or without N₂O and ${\mathrm{NO}}_3^{-}$, and under oxic conditions. N₂O concentration was measured in N₂O-amended cultures only. Growth were measured over different time intervals. Data represent mean values ± SD (n = 3).
