Proc. R. Soc. B 284, 20171774 (Published Online 4 October 2017) (doi:10.1098/rspb.2017.1774)

We found an error in the text, a single word on the top of page 7 of the published version (right column). The published version says:

When physical models were motionless, magpie-larks responded more to playbacks consisting of two motif types than a single motif type, independently of the number of singers.

This should read as follows:

When physical models were absent, magpie-larks responded most to playbacks consisting of two motif types than a single motif type, independently of the number of singers.
