(A) Interferon-β mRNA expression levels in macrophages were measured in both naked mole rats and ICR mice. Both types of macrophages had increased IFN-β mRNA expression. (B) Tumor necrosis factor-α mRNA expression levels in macrophages were measured in both naked mole rats and ICR mice. Macrophage TNF-α expression was significantly increased. The results of (A,B) are presented as the means±ea (*P<0.05,**P<0.01, independent-samples t test).
