Pi burst of p-huM3MD. The quench-flow experiment was conducted after 1.4 μM p-huM3AMD and 30 μM [γ-32P]ATP were mixed and allowed to age for the indicated time. The solid line is the best fit to an initial single-exponential Pi liberation followed by the steady-state rate. The observed Pi burst size and the initial hydrolysis rate are 0.84 and 3.7 s−1, respectively.
