Correction to ‘Variation in recombination frequency and distribution across eukaryotes: patterns and processes’

In figure 2, three species of plants were assigned to the wrong taxonomic group and the icon above the group ‘superasterids’ was incorrect. The grouping of species into these taxonomic groups was only done to make figure 2 and has no influence on the results. Here we provide a corrected version of figure 2. The authors apologize for any inconvenience.
