AUTHOR CORRECTION

Volume 91, no. 12, e00367-17, 2017, https://doi.org/10.1128/JVI.00367-17. Page 13, Fig. 7: The color key for nucleotides is incorrect. The error originated when the matrix of data obtained from the Perl script that analyzed the nucleotide composition of each small RNA read was transposed into Microsoft Excel sheets to generate the figure.

The color key in Fig. 7 should appear as shown below.

The same procedural error applied to the related analysis of the 73- to 84-nucleotide-long RNA reads in the Potato virus X (PVX) genome, and the text should be corrected as follows.

Page 9, paragraph 1, line 12: “cytosines” should read “uracils.”

Page 9, paragraph 1, line 15, “cytosine” should read “uracil.”

Page 12, paragraph 1, line 15: “cytosines” should read “uracils.”

These corrections do not alter the results and conclusions in the article. We apologize for the errors.
