Adolescent CVSS increased anxiety-like behavior on the elevated plus-maze (EPM). In Experiment 1, (A) CVSS exposure decreased the percent time on the open arms of the EPM in males and females relative to CON mice (p < 0.01). CVSS exposure did not influence (B) the number of closed arm entries on the EPM. In Experiment 2, (C) CVSS exposure decreased the percent time spent on the open arms of the EPM in males, but not females, relative to CON males (p < 0.05). CVSS exposure did not influence the (D) number of closed arm entries on the EPM.
