ADAR amplification is associated with decreased immune cell concentrations in lung adenocarcinoma. Fig. 6A shows the correlation between ADAR RNA and CN abundances and relevant pathway, tumor purity, and immune infiltrate signatures. The TIMER app was used to estimate immune cell subtype concentrations in LUAD tumors with known ADAR CN status (B). Tumors with ADAR CN gain or amplification had evidence of significantly fewer CD8 + T Cells, CD4 + T Cells, Macrophages, Neutrophils, and Dendritic Cells.
