We appreciate Drs. De Bernado and Rosa careful reading of our recent study on the reproducibility of central corneal thickness measurements obtained over time using ultrasound pachymetry. We agree with all of their excellent observations. For completeness, we used a solution of fluorescein sodium and benoxinate for all patients at all time points. Immediately after instillation, we performed Goldmann applanation tonometry and then pachymetry, in that order.
