Dear Sir,
I read with interest the article on the cardiac effects of lightening strikes, published in AER last year.[1] ‘Never bathe or take a shower during a thunderstorm,’ as the saying goes. Sudden cardiac death, which is more common in the bathtub or under the shower, in some cases may be due to non-electrocuting, mild stray electric currents not felt by the victim or noticed by the family, nor diagnosed at autopsy.
