In this paper (BMJ 2018;361:k1551, doi:10.1136/bmj.k1551) the last name of the sixth author should have been spelt as Smeets [not Smeet], and in the main outcomes section of the abstract, outcomes section of the methods, and caption to figure 3, clinically significant pain relief should have been defined as a decrease of 3 [not 1.5] points on the visual analogue scale from baseline in each group.
