The April 1, 2015, article by Ostronoff et al, entitled “Prognostic Significance of NPM1 Mutations in the Absence of FLT3—Internal Tandem Duplication in Older Patients With Acute Myeloid Leukemia: A SWOG and UK National Cancer Research Institute/Medical Research Council Report” (J Clin Oncol 33:1157-1164, 2015), contained errors.

In Figure 2B, the y-axis label was given as “Overall Survival (probability)” whereas it should have read, “Relapse-Free Survival (probability).

In the discussion section, the first sentence was given as “Analyses from this large retrospective study demonstrate that patients age 55 to 65 years harboring NPM1 mutations and FLT3-ITDs have a significantly improved survival as compared with those without this genotype.” It should have read “Analyses from this large retrospective study demonstrate that patients age 55 to 65 years harboring NPM1 mutations and without FLT3-ITDs have a significantly improved survival as compared with those without this genotype.”

The online version has been corrected in departure from the print. Journal of Clinical Oncology apologizes for the errors.
