There was an error in the molar extinction coefficient used to calculate the concentration of CBP21 from the absorbance at 280 nm. The correct value is 35,200 m⁻¹ cm⁻¹ rather than 29,450 m⁻¹ cm⁻¹ that was used in the article. For this reason, the reported concentration of CBP21 was 1.2-fold higher than the actual concentration with the exception of the data presented in Fig. 5, where the correct concentration was reported. This error affects only the reported k_cat value, which should be 6.7 s⁻¹ rather than 5.6 s⁻¹, and does not affect the conclusions of this work.
