Emeritus Prof. Masao Endoh is presently the Director of Japanese Northeast Region Health Examination Center, All Japan Laborer-Welfare Association after retirement from the Vice-President of Yamagata University and Dean of Yamagata University School of Medicine, Yamagata, Japan. He is the Premium Professional Gold Heart Member and Follow of Council on Basic Cardiovascular Sciences of AHA. He received his Medical Degree at the Tohoku University School of Medicine, Japan. He received Keith Reimer Distinguished Lecture Award and Distinguished Leader Ward of the ISHR. He published over 220 papers in international journals of Cardiovascular Pharmacology and Physiology with peer review and is currently acting as an editorial board member of various international journals, including Circulation Research (Consulting Editor), Cardiovascular Research (Consulting Editor), Journal of Molecular and Cellular Cardiology (Associate Editor), and the Editorial board member of European Journal of Pharmacology and Journal of Cardiovascular Pharmacology.
