The original article titled “A Comparative Study of Dexmedetomidine and Diltiazem for Attenuating Pressor Responses to Laryngoscopy and Endotracheal Intubation: A Double-blind, Randomized Study” published in Anesthesia Essays and Researches, on pages 921-929, Issue 4, Volume 11, 2017[1], is being retracted due to author conflict. This has been brought to notice of the Editor-in-Chief, by the authors. Plagiarism, unethical publication or redundant publication violates the editorial policy of Anesthesia Essays and Researches, which follows best practice guidelines given by the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE) and Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) mentioned on the Information for Authors and as codified in the signed statements made by the authors regarding the copyright of their work.
