Are all physicians in your group MSMA members? Remind them to pay 2014 dues. Educate on the importance of all Missouri physicians belonging to MSMA. Recruit one physician outside group to join. MSMA officers and leadership recruit three to four new members. Visit www.msma.org/RecruitmentTools.

☑ Attend White Coat Day at the Capitol on March 5.
Lobby for essential bills at the Capitol (e.g. tort reform re-enactment) and against noxious bills (e.g. perennial expansion of scope of practice by physician wanna-bees). Sign up for Physician of the Day. Visit www.msma.org/Advocacy.

☑ Educate your state Senator and Representative.
Contact MSMA for background information and educate lawmakers on re-instating tort reform law. Keep in touch via calls, letters and e-mail throughout the session. Be their most attentive constituent.
