The MSMA Alliance “Casino Night Foundation Fundraiser/ Dinner” raised approximately $8,000 for the Missouri State Medical and AMA Foundations, during the Alliance’s and MSMA’s Annual Convention in Kansas City.
A dinner buffet, games of chance, and a silent and live auction were enjoyed by the generosity of our donors and all who purchased ticket and auction items. Proceeds will be directed to future doctors who are in need of financial assistance.
Thirty-seven Alliance members and staff, plus eight vendors, contributed to the auction and evening prizes. Joseph Corrado, MD, (rigtht) was the fabulous auctioneer. A special thanks goes to Dean Betty Drees, MD, and the University of Missouri - Kansas City School of Medicine for helping to sponsor the event.
Fundraising is an important part of the Alliance, and we are proud to help support the education of new physicians. Thanks to all who helped to make the evening such a success.
