Regarding the article: “Novel orally active epoxyeicosatrienoic acid (EET) analogs attenuate cisplatin nephrotoxicity,” by Md. Abdul Hye Khan, Jing Liu, Ganesh Kumar, Stephen X. Skapek, John R. Falck, and John D. Imig, published in FASEB J. August 2013 27:2946–2956; doi: 10.1096/fj.12-218040. There is an error on page 2947, right column, in the sentence: “The experimental protocol is designed based on our observations in a pilot study, which revealed that a single cisplatin injection (5 g/kg i.p.) in WKY rats increased plasma creatinine level by d 3, and this level reached a peak by d 5.”
“(5 g/kg i.p.)” should read as “(5 mg/kg i.p.),” so that the corrected sentence should appear as:
“The experimental protocol is designed based on our observations in a pilot study, which revealed that a single cisplatin injection (5 mg/kg i.p.) in WKY rats increased plasma creatinine level by d 3, and this level reached a peak by d 5.”
